Community Guidelines

Last updated 29 October 2026Version 0.1

Joy & Jack is a private space: your stories are yours, and nobody else sees them. These guidelines are short because the idea is simple.

The stories we write are built on consent between adults. We ask the same of the people who use Joy & Jack: treat the people you write about, and the people you write to, with respect.

2. Your partner's privacy

If you write a story for or with a partner, make sure they are happy with it, especially before you share it with them. Never use a real person's name, likeness or private details without their consent, and never to embarrass or expose them.

3. Where these guidelines apply

Joy & Jack has no public profiles, comments or shared stories: your library is visible to you alone. These guidelines apply to everything you send to us, including story ideas, messages to support and feedback, and to any story you choose to share outside Joy & Jack.

4. How to report

If something worries you, tell us at hello@joyandjack.com. For illegal content or a policy breach, see our Complaints Policy. If you believe an image shows you without your consent, use Report Non-Consensual Imagery.

Welcome to Joy&Jack

Surprise: Premium is on us

Joy&Jack fully launches in a few weeks. Until then, enjoy every Premium feature freely, at no cost. We'll let you know before asking for a payment method, around mid-December. Nothing will be charged without your consent.
